Subject: Training for New Web Software
As you may have already been notified, our company has recently purchased software that will allow all employees whose work requires changes to be made to our company webpage to make said changes themselves, rather than routing them through our webmaster, Roger Evans. This will allow him to perform his more essential duties, rather than getting bogged down by a constant stream of website changes, and will also allow the changes to be made in a quicker manner than it currently is, so our website can remain up to date at all times. This will also mean that those of you receiving this memo will need to take on a little bit of extra responsibility in updating your part of the website yourself, but you will be able to take comfort in the fact that the changes you need will happen when you need them, rather than sometime after you request them.
This new software will require all relevant employees to be trained on how to use it properly, to ensure that this transition goes as smoothly as possible. We have reviewed our options, and the best date and time to hold the training session is the first Saturday of next month, from 9:00 AM to noon. Everyone in the Sales, Product Development, and Training Departments, as well as Roger should attend this meeting. We know that Saturday is not ideal, but the IT Department will have to move all necessary computers into one meeting room for the training, and it is not possible to do this during the week. Since this is not an ideal time, after the training is complete, we will provide you with pizza and drinks to help make it worth your while.
As always, thank you for all your hard work, and we will see you there!
